Cell phones, the Internet, radio, and television make it possible for us to communicate over large distances. These technologies connect people from all parts of the world. Denmark is one of the world's foremost leaders in the development and expansion of communication technology. For instance, there are more cellular phones than traditional fixed-line telephones in Denmark, and the proportion of Danish households with broadband internet connections is among the highest in the world.
At DTU Fotonik we work to increase the efficiency of the systems that transfer information from telephone to telephone, from one computer to another, from a radio tower to a listener, and from a television station to a viewer. We explore and develop new technological solutions, which may allow information to flow faster and in greater quantities while maintaining the high quality standard that society has come to demand.
We like to explain and demonstrate what we do here at DTU Fotonik and we love having visitors.
We are also happy to give lectures in your class room, company, or any other kind of assembly.
