Research

DTU Fotonik is the Department of Photonic Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. We are internationally at the forefront of the developments in telecommunication - within optical as well as other communication technologies

Education

DTU Fotonik offers a whole range of different courses at all levels - from BSc to Postgraduate Programs. Every year we educate more than 80 Master students and several hundred students choose to take courses offered by DTU Fotonik.

Industrial Collaboration

We emphasize the transfer of knowledge between the academic and the industrial world. We aim to meet the needs of existing industries and also help new companies start up. Seven new companies have been spun out from DTU Fotonik since 1999.
